Road Trip

Road trip is a small lounge off 100 feet road in Indiranagar with a travel, adventure and *fun* theme. Everything in the interiors from the prominent and colorful bikes to the more subtle door handles and overhead lamps have visual cues that link in to the broader biker concept. The color themes of the interiors are pleasing, with warm colors on a pleasant neutral background. Diners may choose to either sit at the bar stools, dine formally at the tables or kick back at one of the oblong low lounge tables on a bean bag. Recommended apertifs- the spinach potato soup and the mezze pita platter. We sampled a few of their main course options - caesar salad, mushroom crepes, greek style eggplant mousakka, lamb chops, and ratatouille. All of them were passable except the french style ratatouille and the salads. Service was prompt, and the waiters were very helpful. A modest wine list offers domestic and imports by the glass as well as the bottle. A bookshelf stacked with several travel journals and auto magazines also had a few board games alongside.

Cost: Rs 300-500 per meal
Cleanliness: Good
Quality: Average
Service: Good
Ambience: Very Good
Bottomline: A wonderful spot for an evening soiree with friends over a glass of wine and a mezze platter.
